The Witches Brew

Created a brand identity for a conceptualized coffee shop

called The Witches Brew. The inclusion of a witch hat within

the logo incorporates the mystical theme associated with

witches and magic. The color palette of browns and purples

combine nicely to enhance the atmosphere of the shop with

coffee itself. The brand slogan “brewing wicked good cups” is

not only a play on the witches theme, but also the slang of

New England, where the shop is located.

Coral.Co

Created a custom typeface for the logo and brand identity of

Coral.Co, a conceptual clothing store committed to supporting ocean

conservation efforts through partnerships with the Coral Reef

Alliance. The color palette of corals and teal represents the brand’s

welcoming and playful aesthetic, as well as the mission of preserving

ocean life. Within each letter of this designed typeface is a piece of

coral, with the letter l just being a piece on its own. Alternate

versions of the typeface were created to ensure optimal legibility

across different sizes and applications. The tri-colored coral

collaborates with the brand theme and is used on clothing tags,

business cards, and stickers.

Business cards, tote bags, and POP displays created as part of the

brand identity for Coral.Co. The serif typeface selected complements

the logo, ensuring consistency and visual harmony across all brand

materials. The reusable coral tote features a white version of the logo

against the colored background, reflecting simplicity and brand

recognition. The business card incorporates a long piece of coral to

separate the address and forms of contact, establishing hierarchy. The

POP display showcases the white version of the logo with the teal

backing and coral patterns on the sides; the corners feature flowers

native to California for Spring but are interchangeable for versatility.

The style guide created documents and showcases the various elements

that define Coral.Co’s visual identity, ensuring consistency and

cohesive branding in all areas.

Moo-less Munchies

Created a brand identity for a dairy-free conceptualized appetizer

food truck called Moo-less Munchies. The cow in the logo plays on

the name itself, adding playfulness into the concept. The brand is

centered on fun and simplicity, as the colors blue and tan play into

cows and also typical dairy colors. This branding concept was

created to play against this and offer food to those who, like

myself, may have an intolerance or allergy to dairy. The typeface and

subtle cow pattern connect with each other nicely and the secondary

type allows for easy readability on the menu.

Daystar Coffee

Created a brand identity for a conceptualized coffee shop called

Daystar Coffee. The name daystar is another name for the sun, which is

what inspired the concept. The sun designed is specifically for this

brand. It is featured in a full-color version on the cups and a black

outline on the pastry bags. The color palette of indigo and yellow

play nicely with each other. The type flows nicely, by utilizing a

consistent line weight and vibe. The type alone is used on the window

display. Other elements, like the sweatshirt and signage, maintain

consistent with the brand’s warm and inviting aesthetic. The sweatshirt

utilizes the type version of the logo in the top corner and features a

repeating pattern of the sun motif on the pocket.
